WA Museum Boola Bardip
About WA Museum Boola Bardip
The Western Australian Museum is a long and fascinating institution that documents the rich culture of WA. The museum was established in 1891 but had its origins as an alternate place for exhibits that different entities would curate. Over time due to lack of space restrictions within downtown buildings at this early stage - it's first home was Perth Gaol before moving onto old Clock Tower Hill Prison buildings where they are currently located today! In 1897 after becoming officially known simply enough under just one name, "The Museum", items from all around our great state could finally go live together under one roof.
The Western Australian Museum is a fascinating place to visit. It houses more than 8 million objects, including some that measure up to 12 feet long! The museum also manages 200 shipwrecK sites off our coast - where you can see pieces of history like these precious artifacts for yourself if you're lucky enough to get tickets before they sell out every year.
